Electronic Arts has revealed a bit more details regarding the past Battlefield 1 Open Beta phase, suggesting that it was the biggest ever Open Beta for this publisher with over 13.2 million players.

The 13.2 million players during the last week, Battlefied 1 Open Beta phase is probably one of the most popular around, even beating Blizzard's Overwatch that peaked at just under 10 million.

According to the statistics provided by EA, the most popular classes were assault and scout, there were 28.9 million melee kills, 13 million kills with armored train, 23.8 million road kills and 62.2 million kills while on a horse, which was probably one of the most popular mounts in the game, next to the Light Tank, which will be significantly weakened in the full game.

As you probably know, Battlefield will launch on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 21st, but can played earlier via EA Access and Origina Access on October 13th.
