MSI has unveiled its newest motherboard based on Intel's X99 Express chipset which not only comes with all the high-end features but is also the first motherboard to feature both RGB LED lighting as well as an RGB LED header, the MSI X99A Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard.

Specifications wise, the new X99A Gaming Pro Carbon comes with all the features expected to be seen on a new high-end X99 Express chipset based motherboard, including four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, all with Steel Armor, two PCI-Express x1 slots, eight DDR4 DIMM slots with support for DDR4-3433 memory and with Steel Armor, one Turbo U.2 32Gbps and one Turbo M.2 32Gbps ports, additional M.2 32Gbps SATA port and ten SATA 6Gbps ports with two SATA Express ports.

It also comes with one USB 3.1 Type-C and one USB 3.1 Type-A port, plenty of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, Intel Gigabit I218-V Ethernet and 7.1-channel audio with Audio Boost 3. MSI also included plenty of other high-end features including on-board buttons, post LED and more.

What makes the X99A Gaming Pro Carbon so special is that this is the best RGB motherboard from MSI released so far, as it comes with both RGB LEDs on the motherboard as well as a RGB LED header, which allow users to set and synchronize RGB LED strips with motherboard RGB LED lighting via new Mystic LED desktop or mobile app.

Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the actual price or the availability date but we are sure we will see this one on market shelves before Computex 2016 show and the release of Intel's new Broadwell-E CPUs.
