Gigabyte shows three new X99 motherboards

Ready for Intel Boradwell-E CPUs

At the PAX East show, Gigabyte came with a rather big surprise and has unveiled three new Intel X99 Express chipset based motherboards, the X99-Designare EX, the X99 Phoenix SLI G1, and the X99 Ultra Gaming.

While there are still no precise or official details, GamersNexus.net managed to get a few pictures and show some new features like the 32Gbps M.2 slots, U.2 slots, reinforced PCIe slots, USB 3.1 ports and more.

The newest and most interesting is the X99-Designare EX, with five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, three of which can work at x16 speed, two US 2. ports and some rather interesting white on black color scheme.

The Gigabyte X99 Phoenix G1 comes with "only" four PCI-Express connector, but also features integrated wireless, and single U.2 connector.

Gigabyte also unveiled the new X99 Ultra Gaming, which is similar to the X99 Phoenix G1, but lacks integrated wireless and has a different color scheme.

All three boards are still not officially announced so we guess we will hear more about them as soon as Intel officially launches new Broadwell-E CPUs.
