ASRock has unveiled a micro-ATX version of its flagship, overclocking-friendly Z170 OC Formula, the Z170M OC Formula.
The new micro-ATX Z170M OC Formula features a 14+2-phase VRM powered by 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors as well as a high-end 10-layer PCB. Just as the bigger Z170 OC Formula, the smaller Z170M OC Formula als comes with plenty of overclocking-friendly features like on-board OC buttons, voltage measure points, DirectKey OC features, diagnostic LEDs and two EEPROM chips.
It also comes with HyperBClk feature with an external clock-generator, which should allow users to fin tune the base-clock.
Specification wise, the Z170M OC Formula comes with two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, working at x8/x8, single PCI-Express 3.0 x16, working at x4, single 32Gbps M.2 slot, and two 16Gbps SATA-Express slots, which split up to eight SATA 6Gbps ports.
It also comes with two USB 3.1 ports, Type-A and Type-C, eight USB 3.0 ports, Intel Gigabit Ethernet as well as ASRock's own high-end Purity Audio 3 audio solution.
Unfortunately, ASRock did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date.
