One of our forum members has posted a detailed review of MSI's 17-inch GT72S Dominator Pro gaming notebook which features Intel's Core i7-6820HK overclockable CPU as well as the GTX 980 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM.
To be precise, Windwithme tested the special edition of the GT72S Dominator Pro, which is the 29th Anniversary GT72S Dragon Edition with a rather neat black and red color scheme and dragon theme all over it.
What makes the MSI GT72S quite intersting are the 17.3-inch 1920x1080 non-glare screen with support for Nvidia G-Sync and the hardware inside, which include Intel's overclockable Core i7-6820HK Skylake CPU and the Nvidia GTX 980 Notebook graphics card, which is pretty much based on the same GPU as the GTX 980 desktop graphics card with 2048 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM.
All of these specifications as well as high-end features allow the MSI GT72S Dominator Pro to even outperform some desktop system that we have seen and even allow further overclocking in case some of those games do not run smoothly on 1080p and ultra settings, something that this notebook is clearly capable of delivering.
