Xigmatek has expanded its CPU cooler offer with another entry-level tower-design CPU cooler, the TYR-SD962.
Featuring a based that doubles up as a secondary smaller heatsink, which is connected via two 6mm copper heatpipes, which are in direct contact with the CPU, to a primary aluminum heatsink cooled by a single 92mm fan. The supplied 92mm PWM fan features fluid-dynamic bearing and spins between 1200 and 2800 RPM and produces 28dBA of noise.
The precise dimensions of the Xigmatek TYR-SD962 CPU cooler are set at 65x85x121mm (without the fan) and it weighs 310g. It can handle CPUs with up to 100W TDP and is compatible with Intel LGA1150 as well as AMD AM3+ and FM2+ CPUs, of course, with aforementioned TDP limitation.
Unfortunately, Xigmatek did not reveal any details regarding the actual availability date or the price of the new TYR-SD962 CPU cooler.
