Gigabyte has announced a new version of its overclocking assistant EasyTune software which should simplify the overclocking of the new Intel Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition CPU.


Intel has designed the Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition as the cheap way to get into overclocking and the new EasyTune software from Gigabyte will allow you to pull highest level of overclocked performance from the CPU with Gigabyte Z87/Z97 motherboards, and all with a single click automatic overclocking, according to Gigabyte.

The new Gigabyte EasyTune offers three different level of automatic overclocking, light, medium and extreme, which push the CPU to a certain frequency so it is quite easy to find the proper 24/7 stable system performance since all overclocked profiles are pre-configured and tested by Gigabyte.

For those that are a bit more experienced with overclocking, the EasyTune offers more advanced overclocking options for both the CPU and memory which can be set directly from Windows, without going to the BIOS.
