Lian Li previews PC-B16 and PC-A61 cases ahead of launch

Coming to CeBIT show in March

Lian Li has posted a couple of pictures of its upcoming PC-B16 and PC-A61 case which are scheduled to be officially launched during CeBIT 2014 show in Hannover. Both new cases are based on the same design except for a couple of add-ons on the PC-B16 which include noise reduction front door.

The dimensions of both cases are set at 230x490x530mm with 6.5kg weight and will be available in all-black and white color options. The new cases will also bring the new drive cage design with a possibility to detach each 3.5-inch drive bay individually, thus allowing more flexibility when installing long graphics cards, or simply removing only those 3.5-inch that you actually do not need.

With an ability to get rid of the drive bays, both new cases support up to 420mm long graphics cards, up to 170mm tall CPU coolers and has a 30mm space behind the motherboard tray which will allow much easier cable management.

As far as the cooling goes, the PC-B16 and the PC-A61 feature two 120mm front intake fans, 120mm rear exhaust and two top 140mm exhaust fans, so there should be enough room for some serious water-cooling setups as well.

Unfortunately, Lian Li is keeping all the juicy details for CeBIT 2014 show in March, including the price or even the finalized design, so some things might be changed until then.
