VRM Temps




We used HWInfo for the VRM temperature monitoring of the reference design cards (AMD Stock, XFX Double Dissipation and the Accelero Hybrid). For the MSI HD 7970 Lightning we used AfterBurner and for the ASUS 7970 DirectCU II Top and Matrix Platinum we used GPUTweak.
idle temperature is the highest temperature measured after 15mins idle time right after boot.
The load temperature is the highest temperature measured after 1 hour of BattleField 3 gameplay.
Fan speed: Auto
Room Temperature: 25°C
