Conclusion

General   + -
If we look at all the cards we've tested meanwhile the EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked should be compared with the ASUS GTX 680 DirectCU II. Both cards come with an almost identical factory overclocking and they therefore also offer an almost identical performance level. What has been interesting to observe is that the EVGA card was able to pull ahead in quite a few gaming benchmarks although the ASUS card comes with a slightly higher boost clock. What was astonishing was the noise level of the card. EVGA is using the reference cooler and it seems the saved a different fan profil with lower rotation speeds. In fact the card is subjectively very silent and one can't here it when it has been built into a PC. Even if you put the fan speed to 100 percent manually it still isn't loud.   - 2D very silent - Noise Level in 3D mode

Performance   + -
The Performance of this card is really on a high level. One can clearly see that the factory overclocking has an effect. If we compare the EVGA GTX 680 with the ASUS DirectCU II Top, which comes with a slightly higher boost clock, we see that there is almost no difference. In fact it was interesting to see that the EVGA card was faster in quite a few games. But on the other hand, in the theoretical benchmarks, you'll clearly see that the higher boost clock, the ASUS card features, helps to pull ahead. Despit the fact that the EVGA card is very silent we didn't see any thermal throttling because of insufficient cooling. We even tested the card when we had 30 degree celsius in our office and there was absolutely no throttling.   - Performance
- Huge factory overclocking

Recommendation   + -
The recommendation for this card is quite simple: If you're looking for factory overclocked GTX 680 which is capable of running very silent, then this is the perfect card for you.   - High-End Gaming - Overclocking

The EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked gets very good five out of five stars.
