Conclusion

The Corsair ONE PRO is a great mini gaming PC that offers solid performance in combination with very low noise levels. At the heart there is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card and in combination with all the other components a very reasonably performing and efficient system has been created. As we already mentioned the noise levels it produces can be described as very silent in idle and audible under load, which is reasonable as well, especially considering the size of the PC. Furthermore the design that's kept in black with light blue side stripes makes the system interesting to look at. The case is made out aluminum and generally good looking.

Overall we like the Corsair ONE PRO but that doesn’t mean there is no room for improvement anymore. First of all we start with the airflow concept; since the air is sucked directly through the two large radiators we would like to see dust filters in order to keep the system clean. This is a bit disappointing since Corsair offers several PC cases with dust filters. Another aspect that leave us with mixed feelings is the SSD. A few months ago, Corsair has unveiled the MP500 M.2 PCIe SSD, which would be perfect inside this tiny - and not cheap - gaming PC.

None of the two above points are considered as deal breakers since they are all fixable in one way or another. In comparison to our reference system the Corsair ONE PRO performance deviates within the margin of error – which is +/-2%. Due to the fact, that we don’t own a Corsair Force LE 960GB SSD we compared the performance to a Samsung 850 Evo, which lead deviations in the range of -7/+4%. Since the drives are different this is perfectly ok. The 2D as well as 3D capabilities are on the expected levels. The Intel Core i7-7700K offers plenty of performance at a still reasonable price point and the NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics cards is even capable of running most recent games at 2160p (UHD) resolution. Therefore this system is more than capable enough to run every single game out there smoothly at the currently most common resolutions, which are 1080p (FullHD) and 1440p (WQHD).

Corsair installed zero bloat ware on the ONE PRO, which means you won’t have any software eating up resources in the background – which is a good thing for apparent reasons. The system comes with Windows 10 x64 operating system and Corsair software allowing you to monitor temperatures or the state of your SSD for instance.

The Corsair ONE PRO is available at the official Corsair store at a price of $2299.99 USD. Although the price might sound a bit steep, at the moment it's not possible to build a similar gaming PC with the same size and performance. Due to the build quality, the design and the performance we believe the price is more very reasonable. The Corsair ONE PRO receives 4 stars out of 5.
