Raijintek's Aeneas is a rather unique cube-style PC case with support for micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards and is designed for those who like a somewhat different design approach or are looking for a new modding project, since the Aeneas is able to accomodate liquid cooling systems radiators and plenty of fans. Unlike what you might think, the Aeneas is not a small case at all, and with the right precautions, you should be able to install high-end graphics cards as well. The build quality is pretty good and the materials are pleasant to the touch. |

The Aeneas is made of SGCC steel and ABS plastic painted black and these are definitely quality materials, both internally and externally. Although the side panels are quite light and thin, which is never a good sign, we did not observe any sharp edges. As for the hardware mounting process, since there is a removable tray with rubber grommets everywhere it is quite easy to obtain a very clear and nice system. The removable tray is screwed to the main chassis only with thumb-screws. Like we mentioned, there are 5 cut-outs with rubber grommets that will help you to manage a better cable managment. The available internal space is more than enough for a mATX system, and we had no trouble placing a Radeon R9 290X graphics card or a CPU tower cooler. |

Of course, the design is always a matter of taste. In our opinion, the Raijintek Aeneas follows simple stylistic choices that could appeal to many users. The design is characterized by the presence of a huge mesh on the top panel as well as the front one. Regarding the cooling, you get two 120mm pre-installed fans at the front and two 140 mm at the back. Overall, the Aeneas is able to support multiple cooling solutions, both air and liquid. A large amount of fans also means that there will be plenty of dust and dirt inside of the case but Raijintek placed a large filter made of plastic for the front fans but this one looks a bit unpractical and we would certainly appreciate a better solution, like a magnetic filter. | - Design

Recommendation | + | - | |
The price of the Raijintek Aeneas on Caseking is about €79 and it is available in different colors and with or without the window side panel. In our opinion, the overall quality is good and the main features are well designed. The price is in line with other products in the same category and we can recommend this model to modders and those looking for a cube PC case which is able to accomodate high-end components and be a part of a powerful setup. | -
