Acoustics

Headphone

Attitude One decided to equip the Almaz with two 40 millimeters drivers, which makes for a good basis in case of sound quality. We tested the Almaz with a wide variety of music, movie and games. Despite our initial fears, the Almaz headset was a rather pleasant surprise and the sound is, in our opinion, well balanced. During our tests we found it has great reproduction of highs, mids and there is also a punchy bass. Attitude One certainly did a good job from this point of view. At high-volume, we found some distortion in the audio quality. If you love a deep and very strong bass we recommend you to use an equalizer for this purpose, since the setup of the drivers is rather linear.

Microphone

The microphone is simple and detachable and there is also a handy remote control, using which you can adjust volume and mute/unmute the microphone. Attitude One Almaz comes with a good bundle, so inside the box you get six cables in total:
  • 0.9m cable with in-line remote control for iDevice
  • 1.2m cable with in-line remote control for iDevice
  • 0.9m cable with in-line remote control for Android
  • 1.2m cable with in-line remote control for Android
  • 7.0m HiFi cable with 3.5mm
  • 3.5mm stereo jack socket to 6.3mm plug
The support is flexible to a certain extent and with memory effect, unfortunately it is always too far away from the mouth.
