Display / Specifications
LG decided to equip the G2 with a Full HD,
5.2 inch True HD IPS Plus display. Therefore it comes as no surprise
that the contrast and viewing angles are both very good. Brightness is also very
good on this display, when used in full sunlight we had no issues seeing and
reading the display. On another note regarding the display, we found touch
responsiveness to be excellent and the phone didn't misread any of the finger
gestures. With regards to the SoC, there is nothing more powerful available on
the market today than the 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800. The LG G2 Snapdragon 800
chipset is paired with 2GB of memory and currently this is pretty much the
standard for high-end smartphones. We think LG found a good balance with this
amount of memory. Coupled with the underlying hardware, it creates a buttery smooth user experience with plenty of horsepower for any app you might want to install on this phone. To round the package off, there is also an LTE module, which offers state-of-the-art on the go network speeds.
