Closer Look

When looking at this mouse from a birds perspective, we see several parallel lines and congruent angles and combined with high quality plastics, which offers an even surface, you get decent looks with an individual design. If you run your hand over all the different corners and edges you feel not everything is built absolutely perfect, but overall it feels good. On the front as well as on the back of the mouse you find fully customizable LED's, which look like a cars headlights. The colors of the Gungnir are in sharp contrast to the previous model produced by Tesoro and the overall design is completely different, in fact the mouse is thinner and has more of a rectangular appearance. The shape and arrangement of the buttons make this product asymmetrical and thus exclusive to right-handed users. When hovering over the scroll whell it feels soft and quiet and there is good tactile feedback. Next to the mouse wheel you find the two additional buttons, which allow you to se the resolution you want.

Bottom side and weight stones

The optical sensor is set to 900 DPI by default but if you like to can go all the way up to 3500 DPI, whereas there are four steps: 450, 900, 1800 and 3500 DPI. Furthermore the Gungnir is capable of tracking surfaces while being accelerated with up to 20 G or in other words at a speed of 60 IPS (inches per second). Flipping the mouse, makes us discover two big, black glide pads, which make sure, that this mouse hovers over surfaces in an even manner. Despite being a gaming mouse you can't adjust the weight, however, it's well balanced and very light, which makes it nimble and agile. The cable, which is 1.8 meters in length has been sleeves and the USB connector features a gold plated surface.
