With Fall Creators Update

A few weeks ago we reported that Microsoft Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be available earlier this week. Alongside the OS update, Microsoft has implemented a new anti-cheat system that is called TruePlay. Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will include new gaming modes such as mixer broadcasting and a greater hardware monitoring in Task Manager.

More information in future updates

According to Guru3D and several other media, AMD Ryzen processors are very fast with multithreaded workloads but not that powerful in games, which are CPU bound. On Twitter Microsoft now confirms the issue that Windows 10 does not detect the SMT threads accordingly, which could account for the performance difference.

From Windows 7 or Windows 8

While there have been plenty of rumors regarding updating from earlier Windows versions to the new Windows 10, Microsoft has now come up with an official announcement on its Windows Blog which suggest that it will be possible to upgrade to the upcoming Windows 10 OS via update from Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Software for migration as well

On April 8th, Microosft will stop all support for Windows XP And in order to notify the users which have not aware of the end of support, a popup will appear on the desktop explaining how to switch to a newer version. In addition to the popup, Microsoft will also offer a software solution which will help with migration without losing any data.
