Project EVO #1
Hello, I recently finished my 2nd modding project (2nd place at Bit Tech MOTM), this is the first of two project in a row and is sponsored by PHANTEKS. The build will include a full watercooling custom loop, and some paint/wrap job.

This is a first concept of the build, the msi dragon will not be used in the final build. I had planned to use a MSI motherboard, but since they don't works with 2280 M.2 i decided to go for an ASUS one again.

Re: Project EVO #6
Today i had time to open some boxes. Plextor sent me an SSD M6e M.2 for this build, it works with PlexTurbo 2.0 technology. Plexturbo is an intelligent SSD RAM caching solution using system RAM to accellerate Plextor SSD performance beyon limitations. Thank Plextor for this sample. Here some pictures and informations.

PlexTurbo Technology

PlexTurbo 2.0 has three main advantages;
Performance Boost
The SSD uses 1/4 of the DRAM of the system (max 4GB) as cache. The Intelligent Boost Engine® (IBE) technology, automatically detects hot data (frequently accessed) and cold data (occasionally accessed) and applies the best caching patterns for higher performance.

Safe Power Lost
The information is written simultaneously in the cache of the system as well as the SSD, in case of a power interruption or system crash, data loss will be minimized.

Life Extension Mechanism
The SSD reduces unnecessary rewriting of redundant data by using smart algorithms, in other words, instead of overwriting an entire file, the existing data is compared and unnecessary writes are avoided, increasing the life of the SSD.

Yesterday i received the motherboard too, an ASUS Z97 MAXIMUS IMPACT VII
