Welcome to the official Football World Cup 2014 thread. It's the 20st world cup for the mens and it takes place in brazil from the 12 june to 13 july.
32 participants are battling for their ticket in the next round at the moment, really exciting.

Here we can discuss about the games, expectations and other things about the world cup.

So let me start. As I am french, I naturally support the french team. They are in group E and on the first place in it, with 6 points.

First I didn't knew how it would work without Ribery, but with their teamplay and skills they let us forget the disappointing world cup 2010 in africa.
