This is a sweet little bugger But I have to say ... why the hell do they put he CPU socket into that place? It just makes no sense to me! I mean, placing it in the middle would make it possible to install a big aircooler but like this you'd have to go for an all-in-one watercooler, if you'd like a big VGA.

Right! So..C'mon ASUS, do the magic again

I would also like to see manufacturers to show miniITX boards with NGFF slots instead of only mSATA. I mean the still have some lanes to waste on those small boards, so dedicating like to to a super fast NGFF slot would make sense in my opinion.

I have read some sites..So, for who like me didn't know:

NGFF is acronym of Next Generation Form Factor and is smaller than a mSATA.
Usually for mSATA the dimensions are 51x30mm, for NGFF are 42x22mm. mSATA has only a SATA interface while NGFF has SATA+PCI-Express x2 or x4. But the "cool" thing is that on NGFF can be placed two "devices", right?
Like an SSD and something that need Pci-ex?

Thanks for posting the details! I really appreciate that. I'm kind of really not aware what you guys know and what you don't know.

There was some weird manufacturer (weird because one wouldn't associate it with SSDs) that presented a NGFF device, where there was one SSD on one side and another SSD on the other side and they were both combined with a RAID controller. That is/was really cool stuff and performance wise it's just awesome!

The best thing imo is really the PCI Express x4 stuff. With PCI Express 3.0 this means up to 4 Gigabyte of bandwidth. This would really open the bottleneck for faaaaster SSDs
