sabertooth z87 #1
hello guys

I have a please and a question . I own the asus sabertooth Z87 . Now I have updated the BIOS to version 1707 and am actually very pleased. Only now I have the problem that I want to install my new windows and need for the new driver . Unfortunately I have destroyed my sabertooth Z87 CD and it's nothing more now that I understand nothing of software . Now I was on the ( https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_Z87/ # support ) but I just understand only train station. I would like all the drivers are on the CD + The software such as AI suite etc , so everything is like on the CD simply the latest versions . I do not understand why it eg the chipset even 2 driver has a 250mb and a 50mb (engine and software) , could help me and my LINKS someone I did for a new installation here copy in? I would be really grateful! I would stop all the files so as on the CD , unfortunately, yes there is no all in one for this motherboard . I hope you can help me! and I thank you again very much already ! I have win 7 64 bit ultimate .

With very sincerely loved ones

Shogun

P.S and sorry for my bad english

Re: sabertooth z87 #2
Hi shogun, welcome on ocaholic!

Well, what OS wanna install? W7 x64 or W8 x64?

Anyway:
-Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility V9.4.0.1026 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
-Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.7023 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
-Intel USB3.0 Controller Driver V2.5.0.19 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)

If you don't need RAID, Virtu, OC Tool or other helpfull/useless stuff, then you need only this.
LAN should be detected by Windows, in case:
-Intel LAN Driver V18.5.54.0 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)

My suggestion is the following: install windows and chipset, then go in "Device Manager" and check where there is the yellow triangle. The yellow triangle means that there aren't drivers.

p.s. yellow triangle or cirle? I don't remember

Re: sabertooth z87 #4
If it helps I know the ASUS US site www.asus.com/us has downloadable complete software sets for each of the MB that you could load onto a installable CD just like the one that came with the OEM. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for. Good luck and Good Day to you. James D

Re: sabertooth z87 #9
I'm sorry Shogun, but I had too many things to do, so I didn't have time to look after the forums

You have downloaded absolutely all drivers from ASUS there are for your motherbaord?
Have you also installed Intel Storage drivers? I guess you installed the Intel Chipset drivers, right? What about USB3.0? Everything working fine there?
