Re: introduction to destruction: watercooling 2 gtx 690 #11
I think 78°C isn't that much for a 2chip GPU. Well if you're ready to go on a journey with watercooling and have the money for it, go for it! It would be awesome to see 2 690 cooled by a 360 rad! I'm happy the rad fits!
If you decide to go, be sure to think it carefully, through and through!
Glad I could be of assistance!

Re: introduction to destruction: watercooling 2 gtx 690 #12
now it's time to set an order for some components

any advice for pumps and res combos? are them all the same? Is there any king of the hill or any 'bang for the bucks' regarding those pieces?

black tubing or transparent? hard or soft? 16/10 or what else?

I know many of those questions has to be answered by my aestetical thaught but I don't have any beside the black and red theme driven by the ROG board

I have too many questions.

So it's a yes then! Good!
Here goes again:
The final decision for the components and blocks is yours, we're only here to give you the important info you need, so that everything fits and is compatible. Bare that in mind.
Thinking about the loop, there are a lot of configs that would be possible, I will think of the optimal one and post it here later. I'm working now xD So I can't, hehe!

I have done some research and seems like that a single 360 could be enough
You have to use some powerfull fan, because you can do only push (or pull)

Re: introduction to destruction: watercooling 2 gtx 690 #16
I would put the pump and res on the other side, the back side of the case.

Resized Image

You can connect the cards/blocks in parallel with the tubing. Find space on the back of your case for a pump/res combo. There is no space for it in the front. Of course, you can use them as 2 units, it doesn't need to be a combo
If you go with push or pull, that's up to you.

If you agree, we can start working on the components. Fittings, tubing, pump, res, fans, GPU blocks, all that good stuff...

BTW everyone is invited of course I have mounted a little pool a couple of weeks ago so that if we don't suceed in watercooling pc we can still watercool ourselves

or just throw in the entire pc yelling 'now watercool motherf***er' in the case that everything goes wrong

To make sure, that you can use silent fans I would install a triple as well as a dual rad. for the GPU's I would use a special bridge connector, that distributes the water evenly.

Apart from that I would mount the pump and the reservoir on the backside of the motherboard tray, since this case offer plenty of space for such a setup.

Regarding the flow I would do it this way:

Pump --> Dual Rad --> Triple Rad --> VGAs --> CPU --> Pump
