Layout and I/O

The LANPARTY JR X58-T3H6 comes on a six layer PCB covered in black. The only thing we have to criticize with the layout is the space between the graphic card and the memory slots. There could possibly be soem more space to exchange memory modules when a graphic card is mounted or DFI could probably overwork the memory mounting mechanism.

To get a stable system the CPU has access to a six phase power design. The grahic cards can be mounted in two PCIe 2.0 x16 slots which support SLI as well as CorssFireX.

Regarding capacitors DFI uses all-solid models which guarantee a longer life span at the same temperature level then common capacitors.

Altogether there are six memory slots (5) on the DFI mainboard which officially supports DDR3-1066/1333 with up to 12 GByte/s transferrate. If you want to overclock the memory subsystem DFI claims DDR3-1600 is also possible.

North- and southbridge are being cooled via a passive heatpipe (4). SATA connectors which are angled by 90 degree allow a neat wiring in your case (1). Also very practical are the onboard On/Off and Reset buttons (2). If you press both simultaneously the CMOS is being cleared. What you'll also find is a two digit debug display (2), which help monitoring the start-up phase in case of a two high overclocking.

If you are looking for external connectors on the JR X58-T3H6 mainboard you can find one gigabit ethernet port, six USB 2.0 connectors, PS/2 keyboard and mouse connector, optical S/PDIF connectors and 8-channel audio I/O.
