Back in 2008 Lian Li launched a new case with a unique design. The PC-X2000 was a full tower chassis with interesting design tweaks such as side mounted optical drives and multiple hot swap bays along the base of the system. Time and the market moves on though and their competitors have launched models with new design goals such as bottom mounted PSU, multiple USB 3.0 etc so it was time for a refresh from Lian Li. Today we have the result of that work on our test bench, the X2000F brings Lian Li's high end chassis right up to date while refining the design. Let's find out if it meets the needs of consumers in 2011.

A few weeks ago I received a random e-mail from a company I haven't heard from before, but I am always eager to look at what new companies can bring to the market. I was informed of this company named Coonix who has been, for a while now, building OEM components for well known manufacturers. They are based out of City of Industry, California. Today we are going to look at the Fractal Design Define XL Case which is designed to keep noise to a minimum. The ‘XL’ part of the cases’ name is certainly reflective of the size of the case which is quite a lot larger than the other £100+ cases we’ve looked at recently.

Antec set out to re-envision the gaming case with the DF-85 and I would say they were successful as it not only looks good but also is packed with features. From the 7 adjustable speed fans, filters and Fleet Swap everything is geared towards user friendliness. Looks are always suggestive I like the DF-85′s aggressive appearance.
