Time to throw another case into the mix. Today we are introducing an evolution of one of coolermasters biggest sellers of the last years. The Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced. By listening to the end users input, the CM engineers have refined the 690 series case. Adding a removable HD bay (to support up to 3GPUs easily), a hot swappable HD docking station, baptised X-docking station, are just a few of the new features or updates as you want. The 690 II advanced is available in a window and non windowed version. Let's see what this beauty has got in store for you.

Cooler Master has had success with their HAF932 case with its high air flow design and larger than life case size. The engineers took the HAF932 and scaled it down a little and came up with the HAF922 in order to put a case with design aspects of the hugely successful HAF932 case into lower price range. This new case by Cooler Master is a case which is a got to have for those want the HAF932, but can't afford the price.
Cases
The Cooler Master HAF series began with the 932 which evoked mixed opinions among users and enthusiasts. The second edition in the series, with a similar imaginative name, the 922, has been adjusted a little making it into a slightly smaller Mid Tower chassis as well as allowing a price drop in the region of $20.

We get more than our fair share of high end components here at eTeknix and while I’m sure many of you love reading the reviews of the more extreme end of the market, the truth is that most people spend on a much lower budget. There is a huge market for a rock solid budget solution out there and more often than not many system builders opt for the cheapest chassis they can fit their components into, often using what budget they do have to go towards their graphics cards, processor and other internal components. For the most part, there is nothing wrong with that, you get a powerful system and a neat enough box to bolt it all together, but times are changing and cheap isn’t what it used to be.
It doesn’t seem all that many years ago that a cheap case meant something that was stamped out of tin cans, rattled like crazy any time a fan was powered up and you had to take a Dremel to it just to fit something new in there, in fact more often than not you can still pick up scrap heaps like this in the sub £30 categories at most online retailers… although I would suggest you don’t! So what is the cheapest chassis on the market? Well lets just say that £30 about as low as you should ever go and there are plenty of top brand names out there with offerings in this range, Antec, Coolermaster, In Win, Sharkoon, all have great budget models, but the one were looking at today is the N200 from Coolermaster and at £35 it’s certainly cheap.

Coolermaster are one of my all time favourite chassis manufacturers, they’ve made some of the most iconic chassis of several PC generations that include the ATCS & ATCS 840 with the slide out motherboard tray, the incredible HAF range and the titan god that is the Cosmos II. Yet while many people regard Coolermaster for their high performance products, they’re also great at making budget friendly models such as the N200 which we reviewed recently, a chassis that I think is the absolutely best budget small chassis ever made!
So with Coolermasters history and of course the new N200 review, I have high hopes for the N400 and I’d love to see a repeat performance of the N200 here today. As you can see from the specifications below it packs plenty of features, including some interesting cooling options, so let’s get straight to the good stuff and take a closer look at what Coolermaster and the N400 have to offer.

Fancy a gamer case with LEDs, huge spinning fans with lasers and glow strips, elaborate colours, side windows, big plastic front panels? Go read another review then. This is one for the enthusiasts, the professionals and the silence nazis. The Coolermaster Silencio 550, a sleek, black chassis with thick sound proofing foam on the side panels; let’s check it out.
