Today we are going to take a look at the Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 case which is the predecessor to the Deep Silence 2 which we looked at a few weeks back. This was only released around a year ago, though, so is still fairly current and is actually a more expensive product than the Deep Silence 2.

Its been a while since I had a Sharkoon chassis in the office, not since the T28 Mid Tower I reviewed back in July 2012. The T28 was a great little chassis and it offered plenty of features and style for such a small amount of money, making Sharkoon one of my favourite budget chassis manufacturers. Early in my career with TweakTown, I was asked to review a chassis for SilverStone, and with it being only my fourth go at reviewing cases, I remember feeling like I wasn't covering all that the case had to offer. The case I'm reminiscing about was the original Raven chassis design, the RV01. While it had the outer dimensions of a typical tower chassis when comparing to other chassis' being released at that time, the similarities ended there. It was the first in using a motherboard orientation that took advantage of convection and was aligned so that the rear I/O faced up in the chassis. It had a cool drop down cover for the drive bays, and from what I remember, as it spent some time in my personal use, it was a great case overall.

Today for review I've got a quick one actually, it's a set of cables from NZXT. They're just called Premium Cables, and for good reason they're very nicely made. These cables are essentially extensions for other cables you may already have coming from your PSU, and that can make them very useful for anyone really.

Earlier this year, Corsair released their flagship chassis, the Obsidian 900D. A bit later a mini version came out, the 350D. Almost like the mini versions from smartphone brands such as Samsung and HTC, there are many similarities with the bigger sibling, but the features are less extensive and less advanced. It's smaller, more affordable and it will only fit micro-ATX motherboards.
