Today we are going to look at the first case from Phanteks - the Enthoo Primo, which is aimed at an audience who want a high-end full-tower case with plenty of room for water-cooling equipment. Phanteks are adopting the same philosophy for the Enthoo Prime as they did with their first cooler, the PH-TC14PE ... releasing a flagship product to compete with the very best models already out on the market.

When it comes to high-end full-tower cases, a few models immediately come to mind: Corsair’s 900D, Thermaltake’s Level 10 GT, Cooler Master’s HAF-X, and a couple others. There isn’t nearly as much variety for E-ATX compatible cases as there is for cases that support ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards. Perhaps this why Phanteks was keen to release their first case into this category. Enter the Enthoo Primo, A premium full-tower aluminum body case with numerous new features and great compatibility for water-cooling hardware. Phanteks is among the best manufacturers of computer case fans and CPU heatsinks, so one would expect that their genius in cooling innovation would carry over to the Enthoo Primo. It is quite clear that Phankteks aims to make a statement with this new case; It will be competing head on with the already established high-end full-tower cases. Benchmark reviews will take a closer look at the Enthoo Primo (mo! del PH-ES813P) to see whether or not Phantek’s first chassis deserves a place among the very best.

Today is a pretty cool day at eTeknix HQ, as I get to take a look at my very first Phanteks chassis! The new Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV looks set to be another welcome addition to the enthusiast gaming chassis market, perfect for those who love to show off their build. Phanteks already have a great reputation thanks to their extreme performance air coolers, which are still proving popular amongst system builders, so I’m certainly eager to see what this chassis has to offer.
Cases
Phanteks has delivered the latest version of its aluminium Evolv chassis in a mainstream ATX form factor that stands a compact 495mm high and 510mm deep. It is notably smaller than, say, the Enthoo Pro which is also ATX. Pull off the aluminium front panel, release the full length dust filter, lift off the tool-free side panels and you reveal a steel chassis that is familiar from previous Phanteks cases however there are a few details that are new.

One thing is for sure, the Pelican 1050 Micro case can hold up to some abuse. The case is solid and comes in several colors with both clear and solid color lids. With the added Pick N Pluck foam you can customize the padding inside and secure your electronics.
