Today the Switch 810 launches and we have one of the first samples on our test bench. We will be taking a look at the case in detail but in addition to that will build a system around their Havik coolers and Hale82 PSU to see how the products perform together.
Over the past 3 years NZXT have created some very impressive products for the PC enthusiast market. The company started out with chassis designs and have expanded to include coolers and other peripherals such as fan controllers.
Today we are going to look at the Switch 810 which they refer to as a ‘hybrid chassis’ based on some of their new design implementations.
Just for a minute, we're going to stop looking for the biggest, baddest, most ferocious PC gaming case and look at something a little less hardcore. It's not even black, if you can imagine that..... Another thing that sets the Lian Li PC-A04 apart from the norm is that it's limited to micro-ATX motherboards. Two or three years ago, this would have been a showstopper, but in recent times there have been some excellent uATX boards hitting the market. There are even some offerings that forgo integrated graphics in favor of more performance-oriented chipsets. ASUS and MSI both make X58 boards for instance, and there are also several P67 choices available. So, don't feel that you have to reign in your performance expectations just because you want a smaller, more attractive box beside your desk. Silverstone set out to provide a case that brings a lot of value for your buck and I think they are mostly on target with the PS05. With tool less features for PCI expansion cards, hard drives and drive bays the PS05 won’t have you reaching for a screwdriver very often. The black painted interior is a nice touch for anyone that likes to show off their PC.

Für unseren heutigen Test haben wir uns das Arc Mini R2 genauer angesehen. Hierbei handelt es sich um einen Midi-Tower, quasi die kleinere Version des Arc Midi R2, welcher ebenfalls schon bei uns im Test war.
Das Arc Midi R2 Gehäuse von Fractal Design wurde laut Hersteller für high-perfomance Systeme entwickelt. Deshalb wurde das Gehäuse so gestalltet, dass der Luftstrom Dank der drei 140er Silent Lüfter optimal durchströmen kann. Optional läßt sich eine Wasserkühlung im Inneren des Cases einbauen.
More blue from the front also, all matching as the power and drive LED's are blue also. The whole thing is pretty quiet little more than a low hum coming from it and looking rather splendid with the blue lights and black with a splash of silver detailing on it.

Das heute im Test vorgestellte "Telum" ist eines von zwei Gehäusen aus der Templarius-Reihe. Dieses Modell ist in Anlehnung auf die Tempelritter mit einem entsprechenden Symbol gestaltet worden. Durch das Design soll das Gehäuse auf jeder Lan-Party zu einem Blickfang werden und auch die technischen Spezifikationen scheinen vielversprechend. Das Telum bietet die Möglichkeit, bis zu 10 Lüfter einzubauen. Außerdem wurde ein respektives Platzangebot für lange Grafikkarten geschaffen. Icy Dock has delivered many products designed to make the most out of given storage space, and the new Flex-Fit Trio and EZ-Fit Lite do exactly that. Both the Flex-Fit Trio (MB343SP) and EZ-Fit Lite (MB290SP-B) are designed to mount multiple smaller drives in the space of one standard larger drive. In the case of the Flex-Fit Trio, one 3.5” and two 2.5” drives can be mounted into the space of a single 5.25” optical drive. In addition, the Flex-Fit Trio can use the aforementioned 3.5” drive space for internal drives or for 3.5” drives such as floppies or card readers with full access from the front. The EZ-Fit Lite has mounting for two 2.5” drives which can be mounted into a single 3.5” drive bay. In addition, using both together gives you the option of mounting a total of four 2.5” drives into a single 5.25” optical bay.
The NZXT Panzerbox has been designed by NZXT from the base up. It is specifically aimed for those LAN Party gamers who want the entire usual hardware components in a small chassis as well as room for water cooling in a compact area.
