Cooler Master delivered the M-ITX Elite 120 Advanced, "ultra compact"Â, small form factor chassis for us to try out. Let's have a look at what you can stuff inside.
Cases
Cooler Masters CM Elite 120 may be small, but can it still pack a punch?
Cases
As more and more features are subsumed onto the motherboard, and graphics cards grow ever more powerful, many enthusiasts are realizing that they can do without the size and space requirements of an ATX form factor system. Micro-ATX and mini-ITX systems are becoming more popular, with new motherboards and cases breaking out of the HTPC market that they've defined for so long and nudging into the enthusiast market. Benchmark Reviews looks at Cooler Master's Elite 120 Advanced case and builds a gaming system in it to see how it fares.
Cases
Cooler Master recently announced the Elite 120 Advanced mini-ITX PC case and we have a full review of it for you today! The CM Elite 120 Advanced supports full sized video cards, a 5.25” optical drive, up to 5 HDDs or SSDs, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 front panel ports, and a standard sized power supply. The best part about this case is that you can buy it for under $50! If you are thinking about going small for your next build, then you need to check out the Elite 120 Advanced!

Cases
The Mini-ITX market has been growing both in popularity and in options. That means where we used to have one or two motherboard options, nearly every manufacture has multiple options now. Along with that, we now have Mini-ITX focused heatsinks and video cards. Cooler Master is no different with them expanding out their Mini-ITX case lineup beyond the Elite 120 that we reviewed a while back. Today I have the chance to take a look at one of their other options, the Elite 130. It is very similar to the Elite 120, but with a little different styling. Let’s see if the Elite line can still hold its own against the growing competition
Cases
I’ve reviewed a lot of Cooler Master cases over the years for Benchmark Reviews, and one thing that impresses me about the company is that they never stop innovating or refining. One has only to track the evolution of the Cosmos series of cases to see this writ large (very large, in the case of the Cosmos II), but what keeps my attention is the way they’ll roll smaller, incremental improvements into an existing case line. Today’s example: the Cooler Master Elite 130 mini-ITX computer case.
Cases
It seems that Cooler Master has done what many budget chassis makers have been trying to do for some time now, to produce an inexpensive case that has the right stuff in the interior and some high style to boot. Their Elite 310 case will house your hardware, keep it fairly cool and look good doing it for the miserly sum of around $35-40 US.
Cases
I’ll say it like it is, The Cooler Master Elite 310 is not the case you’re going to be selecting for your next powerful gaming rig. However, it still a solid case that would be suitable for a budget build or if you’re going for something less flashy. The one we received was the model with the white chassis and the pink front plate. So this model may be a great one to go with if you’re looking for something for the lady in your life, or the guys who enjoy the color pink (you know who you are). Still, it should be noted that the case is also available in black, and has a fairly diverse selection of front plate coloring options. So fear not, pink is not your only choice!
Cases
The enthusiast case market is replete with fancy cases brimming with exotic materials and features. It's not unusual for builders to buy "more case than they need", investing extra money in a case their system can grow into. But sometimes all you need is a basic case: a good-quality enclosure that will serve as a home for your components in a business, "grandma computer", or other non-enthusiast setting. Although Benchmark Reviews does not often look at cases like this, they make up the bulk of the case market. While Cooler Master's best known for its enthusiast cases (such as the HAF series), they serve this market as well with cases like the Elite 343 mATX computer case.
