Corsair has taken the industry by storm this year, not only have they been gaining further success with their cooling products such as the H100i, but they've also been making some of the best gaming peripherals around with their M95 and K70 products, yet the area that they've been gaining the most attention, at least in my opinion is the chassis market, where they are going from strength to strength with their high quality chassis designs.
The merits of their chassis designs are apparent across all the Corsair ranges, but especially so with their Carbide series. The 900D is one of the biggest and most impressive looking chassis on the market and the 350D is one of the most premium quality m-ATX chassis designs I have ever seen. Much like its other Carbide counterparts, they Air 540 is quite expensive and has a retail price of a little over £115.00 (ex shipping), but if we see the same build quality and exacting standards that we've seen in the rest of the Corsair Carbide range then the Air 540 could still be good value for money.
Corsair are looking to do something a little unique with the Air 540 by splitting it into two compartments, essentially making it a double width chassis in a bid to create not only a unique design, but also improve cooling to the components that really need it.

‘Unique’ is a word that is reserved for only a few companies in the case market today. With a split-chamber design and cube shape, does Corsair’s Carbide Series Air 540 create a spark that could relight the flame of innovation for the chassis market?

NZXT are one of the all time greatest chassis manufacturers and right now they have one of the most impressive product lines on the market that offers some seriously high end feature sets to the enthusiast market. Yet while all the attention may go towards their high end, high price solutions such as the Phantom 820 or the more recent H630, NZXT have not forgotten about the more budget friendly end of the market.
We recently reviewed the H630, a high performance product with some of the best build quality and sound proofing I’ve ever seen in a chassis design, easily one of the top 10 best chassis available to this date in my opinion. The chassis we are looking at today is effectively the little brother of that chassis and the H230 aims to offer a less expensive solution for those who want a stylish and silent mid tower chassis design, but still want the sleek styling that NZXT are renowned for in their higher end models.
Obviously I’m not expecting this to be as great as the H630, but it will be interesting to see just how much the H230 has to offer for £59.00 vs the H630 which costs £129.99.

It’s been a while since we got to take a look at an Enermax chassis, the last one was the fantastic Ostrog GT four months ago and it’s great to finally get our hands on something new from the German manufacturer.
The in-name only little brother of the Fulmo GT, the Fulmo ST is a premium price range midi tower. The Fulmo GT is a ultra premium priced full tower and to my eyes looks little to nothing like the ST, they just share the same first name. The mid-towered Fulmo ST is priced at around £90 here in the UK at time of writing and that makes it a premium solution, it’s not the most expensive option out there but it’s certainly up against some fierce competition in that price range from brands like NZXT and Corsair.
Enermax are already a big brand, well-known around the world for their award-winning power supplies, coolers and fans but in recent years they’ve been getting plenty of attention for their unique chassis designs, I’m hoping that the Fulmo ST is another great addition to their good name. So let’s get started and take a closer look at what the Fulmo ST has to offer.
