Today we are going to analyse one of the most inexpensive cases from Thermaltake, V3 Black Edition. Although being an entry-level case, it keeps the overall quality and features found on more expensive cases from this brand. Check it out!

In just over two years of reviewing I have seen many cases come and go, loads of ideas and implementations of some really creative solutions. I am pleased to say I have had the pleasure of working with some of the more expensive models as well as the majority of midrange and budget models. Rarely do I run across cases that cross those borders, but every once in a while you find that deal that you just can't pass up. It may be an offer of an unbelievable price, or it might just be exactly what you are looking for at the time. Either way, you just cannot keep yourself from adding it to your cart.

So what are you supposed to do when the phone rings and your best mates are on the other end with a stack of your old favorite games? Well, you can lug your full tower everywhere you go, or you can start to think portability. There are a couple of things that come to mind when I think portability in chassis design. First, you have to have a way to easily move or carry said chassis, and the second is having the room inside this smaller chassis to build what I like to refer to as a sleeper. That is when you take a chassis and pack quite a bit of PC horsepower into a completely unassuming space, and it sort of surprises others as you peel open the side and show off your goods to your friends.

Today for review I've got another case from Thermaltake called the V3 Black Edition. This case is a low priced case, coming in at around $50, so don't expect the features or amenities that you'd find in a high priced case, it is though a decent case overall. It's lightweight and seems well made, there is room for larger video cards, but I did run into a couple problems with it, so read on...

Living on campus or in a small room in your parent’s house can have its “special dilemmas”. In such situations, even though your wallet can support a top end system, that’s not to say you have the room to house let’s say the 800D or HAF-X. Well, in order to save space, right off the bat you start shopping for m-ATX boards with tons of options and Crossfire or SLI support. Then comes the choice of what to house it in. Now things like room for graphics cards and wire management come into play, as most small cases tend to be tight, warm and usually pretty plain to look at

Targeted as an entry level mid-tower case, the Elite 430 Black is designed for minimum footprint with maximum use of interior space. Cooler Master claims even dual Crossfire HD5970 cards and oversized tower style air coolers like their V8 and Hyper 212+ will fit. Able to house up to six 120mm fans, the Elite 430 offers excellent cooling potential while tight mesh inserts allow filtration of incoming air. Blue LED lighting and a generous sized side panel window help the Elite 430 really show off its stuff, while the fully painted black interior adds the finishing touch. Join me as I take a closer look at the Cooler Master Elite 430 Black mid-tower case.

Staying on top of the latest trends and what I would assume is a drive to the younger crowd, IN WIN offers us a new chassis to have a look at. This may sound a bit harsh, but looks are number one in my choices. I mean bottom line, even if it cools like a champ I still have to look at it every day. Saying that leads me to the fact that while I don’t personally like the exterior of what I have seen from IN WIN, that’s not to say they aren’t attractive and eye catching. They are! - It just isn’t my cup of tea.
