NZXT has been making quality computer cases since 2004. They have become a popular brand among computer enthusiests, and for good reason. NZXT cares about style and functionality. Here at Benchmark Reviews, we also care about style and functionality, and when NZXT agreed to let us review its new Hades (HADE-001BK) mid-tower Chassis, we happily agreed. The Hades boasts such features as up to nine 5.25" bays, or five 5.25" and four 3.5" bays. It touts room for up to 5 cooling fans and large video cards, and it also features a cable management system; all for around $100. Will the Hades live up to the NZXT reputation of quality? While Cougar is a well-known manufacturer of Power Supplies, you may have not yet seen many Cougar Chassis’ on the market. Currently they have five models to purchase; the Cougar Solution, Volant, 6XR9, Evolution and the Evolution Galaxy. The Cougar Evolution Chassis was released at the end of last year and is trying to cram in many features into a fairly small case. While it classes itself as a ‘Full Tower ATX case’ it is more in the league of a mid tower and in fact is no bigger than the CM 690 II chassis.

Now sporting two Silent 140mm iso 120mm version fans, improved cable management, two extra USB3.0 front panel ports and a more flexible design regarding big CPU coolers and ultra long power supplies and graphics cards. If you fall into this latter category, there are desktop options available that fit the bill. Today we are looking at one such option, the SilverStone SG05-450 Small Form Factor Chassis.
AZZA has nailed the high performance market with their newly released Hurrican 2000, and has good reason to have such success. Utilizing four 230mm fans throughout the case dropped noise issues and improved cooling performance, the exterior design of the chassis is modern and stylish, the interior design made it an absolute pleasure to work with, and the hot-swap bays made drive installation/swapping a breeze and a half.

Of course you can fill your computer with hard disks, or to make it easier to share you can buy a bunch of external disks. But in my opinion a dedicated solution for storage, such as a NAS would be more practical. In this review we'll be taking a look at some solutions.
The Thermaltake Armor Revo Gene is a mid-tower case in targeted at mainstream users. Thermaltake designed the Armor Revo Gene with aggressive styling, including aluminum wings on the front bezel, large feet to raise it off the ground, and LED logo in the top front with a breathing effect. The Revo Gene supports up to four 5.25” external devices, one external 3.5” drive, and five internal 3.5” or 2.5” devices. The top of the case also has a 3.5” or 2.5” hard drive dock for quickly accessing a bare hard drive. The cooling system is robust and includes a front 200mm fan, rear 120mm fan, and top 200mm. There are also optional fan mounting locations on the side for a 200mm fan and bottom for a 120mm fan. The headset holder on the side of the case is one more feature making the Revo Gene ready for battle.
Today we are going to look at the Silverstone Grandia GD07 which shares a number of design similarities with the GD06 with the notable addition of ATX motherboard support. The rest of the specification is also impressive as the unit features plenty of hard drive bays and cooling options.
