Soon after the Colossus hit the market BitFenix announced their second case, the Survivor and today we have that mid-tower on our test bench. We'll be finding out whether it is the ideal solution for anyone looking at a high quality compact chassis and whether BitFenix have taken on some of the key learning's from Colossus.
Cases
In September 2010, KitGuru reviewed the BitFenix Colossus case and while it showed promise, we didn’t think it was totally ready for prime time release. Today we are looking at their Survivor case, a more modest design which we are sure will appeal to a much wider audience.

Caseking send us another mid-tower sized case to have a look at. Today's star is the Bitfenix Survivor Core case. At first glance it might look a bit dull and simplistic, but the Survivor Core case's looks can deceive. On the inside is where the real fun is at ! In the mood for something different ? Something more spacey looking ? Tired of square or rectangular angled cases ? This one is made for you then...

If the name BitFenix isn't on your radar yet, I have to assume you have been living under a rock since CES back in January. In case you haven't been here and looked at previous reviews, I was privileged to be one of the select few to see the Colossus back in August so we could be one of the first to bring forth the new innovations and design ideas that BitFenix brings to the table. Even if the chassis wasn't as aesthetically pleasing to you as it was to me, the Colossus showed just how in depth BitFenix went to bring you a spin on some older ideas while still bringing things we had yet to see before.
Cases
