Today I am taking a look at the PS07, a premium quality midi-tower from Silverstone. It's been a couple of months since we had a look at a Silverstone chassis, with the FT03 M-ITX and GD07 HTPC chassis both walking away with eTeknix awards earlier in the year, can the PS07 score a third win from us today?
Cases
Silverstone have been designing some of the industries most appealing chassis for the last decade and at KitGuru we were always fans of the Fortress and Temjin series. The Raven 02 in particular has been a favourite in our offices for the last year as it combines subtle and attractive design with class leading ‘vertical’ airflow.
Cases
Cases these days come in a lot of different varieties and usually aim for either aesthetics or superior thermal properties. The PS05 midtower case from SilverStone is their new budget model. This model seems to be aimed at the entry level enthusiast on a budget looking for flexibility in how they put together a build. It is a midtower case with a bottom-mounted PSU. The PS05 is part of their Precision Series which brings thoughtful details from high-end chassis designs that are usually left out of entry level models. Items such as the all black interior, cable tie-down spots and vibration dampening hard drive mounts are all part of this model’s selling points.
Cases
Silverstone set out to provide a case that brings a lot of value for your buck and I think they are mostly on target with the PS05. With tool less features for PCI expansion cards, hard drives and drive bays the PS05 won’t have you reaching for a screwdriver very often. The black painted interior is a nice touch for anyone that likes to show off their PC.
Cases
SilverStone's PS05B chassis is a budget mid-tower with a lot of features not seen in most low-price cases. With a blacked-out interior, tool-free features and a few cable management aids, the case is quite well appointed for the price.

Today, computer hardware has become very compact without compromising the performance.
This means that you can now build very powerful small micro ATX computers with the same
components that you only a few years back only would find in a full tower computer. In
this review we look at the SilverStone PS08 Case, a small Case with room for even large
graphics cards.

Over the last few years I've noticed a big shift in the quality of budget priced computer cases (think cases that sit around the $40 price point). We used to associate these cases with cheap looking and feeling designs, void of many features and built with flimsy side panels around a fairly flimsy chassis. However, a lot of well known computer case manufacturers have been starting to release some impressive entry level cases in this price segment that go against what we've come to expect from a "cheap" case. Over the last year I've had a fair number of these cases pass through my hands and the latest, the SilverStone PS08, is here with me today.

KitGuru have been covering the tech goodies at Computex all week and today we thought we would focus on the upcoming Raven 3 chassis from quality maker Silverstone. Those of you who know me from the forums will already be aware that I have been singing the praises of the Raven 02 for over a year now.

SilverStone are well known in enthusiast circles as being one of the most exquisite designers of modern day computer chassis. Today we are taking a look at their Raven RV02 Chassis - the followup to the RV01 - which we reviewed way back in April of this year.
