Building a HTPC is not unlike building any other computer system, the only real difference is your choice in components. Against popular belief you don't always have to go with the smallest components you can find. In fact any old PC will work.

Fractal Design takes a crack at a SFF chassis with its Mini-ITX solution, the Node 304.

Computer chassis manufacturers are always working to perfect their designs and make each case in their line-up just a little better than the previous model. Recently we reviewed the Hiper Anubis, this was Hiper's rookie case. They have since released the Hiper Osiris which can be called an evolution of the Anubis design, and today we will see how it fairs.

It's been far too long since i last reviewed a PC Case and since there has been quite a large number of new ones released in the market lately (many of which are already here) i think it's time i got back on track. Now as some of you know I’ve always liked full sized towers more than midi ones since installing lots of hardware in tight spaces is not really my thing, not to mention about other things such as airflow levels. However lately i have actually seen quite a few feature rich midi towers which i would actually consider using for my own test rigs (and i have if you are following our FB page) instead of full sized ones and the Prominent R by NEXUS which we have here today is such a midi tower PC Case.

Small form factor systems are getting increasingly popular. With the amount of power in and features in new micro ATX and smaller motherboards means many people are opting for them over the traditional ATX motherboards. They not only cost less but allow you to build a system that is not a pain in the you know what to take to LAN parties. With the popularity of these motherboards there is a large demand for cases made specifically them. Today we are taking a look at one such case, the Precision Series PS07 from SilverStone. This case features a sleek tower design, removable motherboard tray, dual 120mm silent fans, USB 3.0 support and of course the quality you expect from SilverStone. Looking for a case for that Micro ATX motherboard? This may be the case for you!

The Armor A60 mid-tower case has the quality and features that people expect from Thermaltake. The interior is roomy and will fit almost all modern video cards. The inclusion of USB 3.0, keyboard/mouse security lock, and the SideClick hard drive tray shows how Thermaltake is looking forward rather than keep everything as is.

Years ago most every PC you came across was beige in color and a tower or desktop in size/shape. As things have progressed we saw that slowly move from beige to black and we now see a lot of manufactures offering white as well. It has happened so much other component manufactures have taken notice and we now see everything from RAM to power supplies that also come in white to match. When it comes to size, things have changed as well. We now have a range of options from large builds down to small table top PCs. Today I’m going to take a look at the Fractal Node 304 white. We have covered the Node 304 in the past but I’m excited to see what it looks like in white.

Corsair has taken the industry by storm this year, not only have they been gaining further success with their cooling products such as the H100i, but they've also been making some of the best gaming peripherals around with their M95 and K70 products, yet the area that they've been gaining the most attention, at least in my opinion is the chassis market, where they are going from strength to strength with their high quality chassis designs.
The merits of their chassis designs are apparent across all the Corsair ranges, but especially so with their Carbide series. The 900D is one of the biggest and most impressive looking chassis on the market and the 350D is one of the most premium quality m-ATX chassis designs I have ever seen. Much like its other Carbide counterparts, they Air 540 is quite expensive and has a retail price of a little over £115.00 (ex shipping), but if we see the same build quality and exacting standards that we've seen in the rest of the Corsair Carbide range then the Air 540 could still be good value for money.
Corsair are looking to do something a little unique with the Air 540 by splitting it into two compartments, essentially making it a double width chassis in a bid to create not only a unique design, but also improve cooling to the components that really need it.
