It has been more than 6 months since I last got to check out a Cooler Master case, and the Gladiator 600 didn't disappoint. The Gladiator is well designed and feels larger than its mid-tower size. The included tool-free and cable management features make installation a breeze. Steel construction gives it a solid feel but yet it still retains a fairly light weight.
Cases
With the Gladiator 600 chassis, Cooler Master has a very nice addition to their mid range, mid tower product line. They've managed to incorporate a great looking exterior with good cooling and a functional interior for a cost of around $70 US. Getting a case to market with these features at this pricepoint is no mean feat, and involves some compromises, but I like what Cooler Master chose to compromise on to cut costs with this chassis.
Cases
The biggest issue with pre-modded cases is that you are often restricted in what additional mods you can do. The CM Gladiator is clearly a perfect for use out of the box and also an empty canvas for cutting, modding, and painting as you see fit. Right away you can start getting a feel of what you can do with this case without worrying about what has already been done.

As a reviewer of PC components, I would like to first start this introduction off with a bit of insight. PC components tend to fall into three different categories: Budget components, performance components, and I-have-too-much-money-to-spend components. You follow? Let me rephrase. Budget components are produced by manufacturers with the goal of providing the best performance-per-dollar. Performance components are released into the market comparably around the same price, but geared towards providing pure performance, innovation, and refinement. Last, but definitely not the least, is the I-have-too-much-money-to-spend kind of products. These products are those targeted at consumers that really have no budget in mind, but are just looking for the best of the best with simply have too much money to spend; hence the name I gave it. Today, however, I seem to be in a bit of a dilemma. Cooler Master has given us a fresh chassis, the Elite 431 Plus, and it seems to be a hybrid of a budget and a performance case. Looking at the price of around $50 at the time of review, it is definitely priced as a budget case. But on paper, this baby screams performance. LED intake fan? Hot swap HDD X-dock eSATA bay? Internal USB 3.0? Black painted interior? The perfect acrylic windowed side panel (No joke!)? The feature list on this case continues to amaze me. But there must be a catch, right? Well, I guess you'll have to read on to find out.
Cases
The Cooler Master Elite 431 Plus is a low-cost, mid-tower case with a USB 3.0 port, an external SATA docking bay, and other features usually only found on more expensive models. Let's see if the Elite 431 Plus is a good deal.
Cases
With the Elite 431 Plus mid tower case Cooler Master wanted to change what a budget case was. Sporting USB 3.0, SATA X-Docking station and side window it certainly delivers on the feature front. An all black interior and a front blue LED fan gives it a sleek and stylish look that should please just about anyone. Toss in some tool free drive bays and you have yourself a budget case that certainly doesn’t feel ‘budget’.
Cases
The Cooler Master Elite 430 is a great little case offering screw-less drive bays, black interior, a bottom-mount power supply, expandability up to six 120mm case fans and support for the largest of video cards and CPU coolers, among many other great features. Available as low as $39.99, what more can you possibly ask of the Cooler Master Elite 430?
