SilverStone changed the case industry when they released their Raven series, where the motherboard is installed rotated 90º, making the rear panel from the computer to be on top of the case, improving thermal dissipation. Now they are bringing this concept to their Fortress series, with the release of FT02. Let's take an in-depth look on this new case.

We’re big fans of the Corsair Carbide series here at eTeknix, from the products we’ve seen in the range so far it seems that Corsair cannot put a foot wrong and their design team seem to be at the top of their game, producing one excellent product after another. This much seems to be true of much of the Corsair product range in recent years, taking a look at their Vengeance products you’ll find award winning memory modules, gaming mice and keyboards, their entire chassis range is full of high quality solutions and their CPU coolers are some of the most popular on the market, so I think its safe to say that I have high expectations for the 330R, it has a strong reputation to uphold.
Priced at around £75 the 330R isn’t exactly cheap, or at least that’s a higher than average price for a mid-tower and that means that we’ll be expecting premium quality to match the premium price tag, but with steel construction, sound proofing material pre-installed, two high quality pre-installed fans, USB 3.0 support and more it looks like Corsair might be able to deliver the premium features we are looking for.
Along with a long list of features in the middle of their mission statement, they end with something along the lines of delivering a chassis with top notch performance and quality with "unstoppable value". So, it seems we are in for a very feature rich mid-tower with a smoking hot price; at least that is my guess right now.

Well, to be honest, not exactly new to those over the pond, but it is new to the US market. The sub-$100 solution, in both my eyes as well as those of BitFenix, does offer plenty of up to date "must haves". On top of that, they have made one of the most ingenious fixes. If I were to give you two native USB 3.0 ports, most users would be in trouble at this point. Instead of adapters, they wired a USB 2.0 connector right into the back of the 3.0 connector just to make life that much simpler! It seems everywhere you look you’ll find a new case coming out, is that good or bad? I guess it depends on the company making the case. Price is always a consideration when buying a case, but also for me the manufacturer is one as well. I’ve reviewed many cases in my time, but never one from the company I have today, Diablotek. The case is called the Legend and it’s certainly what I would call a budget case being priced at under $40 most places I’ve looked. This case doesn’t even come with fans installed, and not much at all in the way of accessories. Well let’s just get into it ...
