Für viele Gehäusesuchende ist der Name Cooltek spätestens seit der Vorstellung des populären Mini-ITX-Case namens "Coolcube" ein Begriff, mit dem das eher für kostengünstige Modelle bekannte Unternehmen, einen großen Wurf landete. Die Resonanz von Käufern und Presse spricht eindeutige Bände, weshalb mit dem Coolcube Mini sowie einem Maxi-Ableger die beliebte Aluminium-Riege Zuwachs bekommt. Zum Marktstart der beiden Würfel-Gehäuse, haben wir den kleineren Alu-Kubus in die Redaktion geholt und durch unseren Testparcours geschickt. Roughly 5 years ago if someone had asked about my opinion regarding the future of PCs I’d never have imagined that 5 years later everything would start to miniaturize for the sake of progress. It's true that up until this day that i type these lines high-end, enthusiast and enterprise-grade systems are not limited in size in any way but from the somewhat recent announcement by Intel stating that they too will focus all their resources in shrinking everything i don't think that time will take long to come and whether or not that "evolution" will turn out to be a good thing only time can tell. However people who wish to have a small PC that can fit even under their TV set need not wait for that time since mini-ITX and micro-ATX mainboards are already half the size of normal ATX ones (and even smaller compared to XL-ATX/EATX) without really lacking much in terms of performance. The only real issue so far has been the limited number of micro-ATX/mini-ITX cases available that can actually take full advantage of what high-end mainboard models have to offer but Cooltek with their latest Coolcube MAXI aims to change that.

Coolermaster are more well known for their gamer and enthusiast chassis than anything else, but they also have a range of coolers. The desktop game is pretty competitive, but the laptop game is less so; mostly because no one has made one that actually has much of an impact. Well Coolermaster is attempting to stop that today with the SF-19, a large scale cooler with USB 3.0 compatibility. Lets see how it does.
When we visited Coolermaster Labs early this year we had some ideas how the new Enforcer was taking form. We also saw then some pre avalaution models of the now released Cosmos case. At Cebit 2011 Marco (CM's marketing guy for the Storm line up) was eager to show off their latest creation to us. It had some pretty good features that could please any gamer out there. Though we we had ( as usual ) some criticism on some concept ideas. Though with the final products arriving at the Madshrimps lab we can see if Coolermaster created the ultimate game case yes or no.
Another day another review and today it’s a gaming chassis. Coolermaster have sent down their Enforcer case that’s part of the Storm range of enclosures and peripherals. It’s got a side window, a large cooling fan and internal USB 3.0 support; let’s see if its other features are as solid.
A silent case may seem like a "sales gimmick" to some people, after all how can a case make noise? While it is true that the case itself isn't loud it can help transmit sound. After all it is the fans and other components that actually generate the noise. But the direct noise is only half of the battle, many of the sounds you hear coming from your case can be traced back to all of the moving parts and their affect on the case itself.

Coolermaster are one of my all time favourite chassis manufacturers, they’ve made some of the most iconic chassis of several PC generations that include the ATCS & ATCS 840 with the slide out motherboard tray, the incredible HAF range and the titan god that is the Cosmos II. Yet while many people regard Coolermaster for their high performance products, they’re also great at making budget friendly models such as the N200 which we reviewed recently, a chassis that I think is the absolutely best budget small chassis ever made!
So with Coolermasters history and of course the new N200 review, I have high hopes for the N400 and I’d love to see a repeat performance of the N200 here today. As you can see from the specifications below it packs plenty of features, including some interesting cooling options, so let’s get straight to the good stuff and take a closer look at what Coolermaster and the N400 have to offer.
