Cougar has been launching some pretty incredible products recently, from their stunning range of gaming peripherals, which includes great keyboards and mice, as well as their chassis products. Today we’ve got their latest mini-ITX chassis, the QBX and it promises to be a competitive gaming chassis for the small form factor market
Cougar's MX500 is a Mid-Tower case with a sleek and modern style that's aimed at gamers. The MX500 measures in at 8.3 inches wide, by 18.7 inches tall and 18.9 inches deep. It will hold seven HDDs and a 300mm video card, or you can adjust the top HDD cage to fit three SSDs and a 330mm long video card, or ditch it all together for a massive 410mm of GPU clearance. The motherboard tray has a cutout for after-market CPU coolers and rounded cutouts to pass through cables behind the tray.
Just in time for Christmas we have a mid-tower for you, this time from Cougar. The MX500 promises to be a case with a gaming centric design and the capability to handle just about any ATX/mATX setup you could want to throw at it with an array of possible drive setups. With the promise or flexibility and expandability the MX500 looks to target gamers and ever since we got our hands on their Vortex PWM fans we knew Cougar was capable of making quality products. Let’s see if they can continue to impress us.

The Evolution chassis from Cougar carries a commendable design concept. Installing all the components into the chassis left us with plenty of room to move around internally, and the removable and tool less drive trays make installing any type of drive rather simple.

The fact that most PC Cases that arrive here for review purposes are designed and manufactured by the top and most well-known manufacturers in the market usually results in a very nice balance between quality and features, not to mention design. Every now and then however we do receive something special in both terms of quality and features (design too) manufactured by a not so well known company in the field and i believe that is quite more interesting since new companies lack not only the required experience but also the resources needed for such a project. So on our test bench today we have a product by such a company and more specifically the Evolution Full Tower by Cougar.
