Enthusiasts, hardcore gamers and professionals may prefer to use full tower PC Cases for their systems but there's really no doubt that every hardware component will get smaller as technology progresses (both Intel and AMD are aiming towards that). Of course to date the really power hungry high performance systems belong inside full towers for a variety of reasons but more and more people turn towards smaller mITX cases for their new HTPC systems which can actually be used for gaming as well something which was not really possible a few years ago. Things however don't end there and although in the market there's an abundance of midi and full tower PC Cases the same can't be said about mITX/HTPC ones especially for people who are looking for high quality solutions. Lucky for every consumer out there new manufacturers emerge all the time and although most don't jump in all at once to bring quality products into the market one of the latest players that listens to the name Streacom seems to be doing the exact opposite of that.
Maelstrom is not only latest product from In Win but also the highest end gaming case that In Win ever has. We were absolutely impressed by In Win Maelstrom at the first sight because this is a monster tower case which is equipped with plenty of advanced features such as high efficiency thermal solution, acoustic & vibration solution, luxurious painting, insane water cooling pre setup and so on.

Es folgte kurzfristig eine etwas abgespeckte Version in Form des Obsidian 700D und im vergangenen Jahr das erste Midi-Tower-Gehäuse: Das Gaming-Gehäuse Corsair Graphite 600T. Auf der Consumer Electronics Show 2011 wurde dann eine Special White Edition des 600T vorgestellt, welche wir in unserem heutigen Artikel etwas genauer unter die Lupe nehmen werden.
Thinking back to the last chassis we looked at from SilverStone's Precision series, I am bringing up images of a case shaped sort of like an Antec 900, but with a slight bulge in the front bezel, while everything was black, inside and out. There was ample wire management, good drive bays that functioned well and decent cooling. Spiking my interest, I just went back to the images and quite frankly, the PS05 was stylish, yet plain enough to fit just about everyone. Change is afoot for those who appreciated the Precision series chassis in the past.

Last month NZXT launched a new case called the Hades and it’s one that is aimed at the PC enthusiast with several features that one might appreciate. Today in the KitGuru labs we are looking at the latest offering from NZXT. This is the third chassis from NZXT that we have recently dissected and after the mixed results we experienced with the Beta EVO, we are hoping for a better showing this time.
With the lack of cases on the market that are not black or black with accents, it is refreshing to see that Thermaltake has stepped outside the norm and put out a Snow Edition Armor Revo chassis. The Revo sports a fan controller that supports up to 5 fans, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 connections. Thermaltake has also added an HDD docking station on the top of the Revo, which supports one 3.5″ or 2.5″ drive. To add to the aesthetics of the Revo, Thermaltake has also added wing shaped aluminum bezels on the front to help it stand out and give you the feel of actual armor.The Revo also boasts a massive air cooling system, along with the option to place a full water cooling setup inside.
