Early in my career with TweakTown, I was asked to review a chassis for SilverStone, and with it being only my fourth go at reviewing cases, I remember feeling like I wasn't covering all that the case had to offer. The case I'm reminiscing about was the original Raven chassis design, the RV01. While it had the outer dimensions of a typical tower chassis when comparing to other chassis' being released at that time, the similarities ended there. It was the first in using a motherboard orientation that took advantage of convection and was aligned so that the rear I/O faced up in the chassis. It had a cool drop down cover for the drive bays, and from what I remember, as it spent some time in my personal use, it was a great case overall.

The BitFenix Shinobi is a nice-looking mid-tower case, with a rubber coating on its plastic parts which helps to avoid fingerprints, dubbed "SofTouch" by the manufacturer. It is available in two versions, either with a tinted transparent side window (USD 70), or with a solid side panel (USD 60). Let's see if the Shinobi is a winner.

Enthusiast users with a constrained budget often have to make compromises in regards to quality, building a PC around a chassis that emits a lot of fan noise due to thin panel design and the inclusion of low quality fans. Enter Cooler Master with their new Silencio 550, a case set to redefine noise emissions for the low end market.

Today we will be looking at a new mid-tower case from Cooler Master, the Silencio 550. As the name suggests, the Silencio 550 is a chassis aimed at those who require quiet operation. Hopefully Cooler Master can achieve this while retaining their usual level of build quality.

The AZZA Toledo 301 is a mid-tower case that comes with a "250 mm" fan on its left-side panel and a terrific price tag. Let's see if it gets our recommendation.

I had to look back at the last time I received something from LanCool. I knew I looked at the PC-K62 a while ago, but upon further looking I just realized it was in September, of 2009! - Things have been busy for LanCool, and as I look over their site again I see that a lot has changed. Not only were there additions to the Dragon Lord series of the K-62, but new series' of chassis designs have been introduced. I am speaking of the First Knight Series, of which we got our newest arrival to my desk.
