The Fractal Design Array R2 chassis instantly recalled for us the decidedly niche, but incredibly functional, cube-style cases popular a few years ago. which were incredibly niche but very functional. The R2 was flexible, silent and sleek in a very limited amount of space. The Lian Li PC-Q25 chassis shares many of the same appealing traits, but goes for a taller design in a similar footprint. This allows it some interesting arrangements inside and allows for even more internal storage options. As a small form factor case there are always trade-offs to be made, and the omission of an optical drive space is just one of them. With some very attractive features in a small form factor cube-like chassis, the Lian Li PC-Q25 has a lot to offer a variety of consumers, which we will examine closer.
Cases

If you like cases that are tiny and compact in design, you are going to want to check out the sleek new PC-Q27 Mini-ITX chassis from Lian Li.

Since this is my first venture into building a system inside an M-ITX PC case I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I started out. I had certain expectations of the Lian Li PC-Q28; I knew it would take a full size ATX PSU (up to 17cm) and double slot video cards (up to 29cm long). The Lian Li PC-Q28 PC case, while small, has a large internal volume and will make for an excellent enthusiast M-ITX case with a few tweaks and mods. In this article Benchmark Reviews will hopefully provide answers to all of the questions you may have regarding the capabilities of the Lian-Li PC-Q28 Aluminum Mini-ITX Tower PC Case (model PC-Q28B), and more that you may have not considered.

Cases
You can always count on Lian Li to do something a little different, this year alone we’ve seen a chassis that looks like a brief case, another that looks like a train and now we have one here today that looks like a cross between an ATM machine and a CRT monitor! And while of course they make “normal” cases as well, it is never a dull day to see something unique come through the eTeknix office and since I absolutely loved the CK101 (train) and the TU100 (brief case), I really can’t wait to see what this new one has to offer.
Lian Li have a rock solid fan base and while their products are often a little more expensive than most other brands, it is often for good reason. They’ve proven time and time again that their build quality is world-class, their engineering is impeccable and their use of beautifully finished aluminium panels is unmatched and I’ll be expecting the same high standards from this chassis that I have seen from other parts of the Lian Li range.
There is no doubt this is a specialist product, it is strange, obscure and even a little expensive for what it is, but the question remains, is it worth it? Well let’s get right to the good stuff and see if we can find out!
Cases
Cases
Today we are going to look at the PC-Q30 which is one of the latest Mini ITX cases from Lian Li. We have looked at a number of compact cases from Lian Li in the past and have been generally very impressed with what they have to offer. This particular model has a very unusual design which features a large curved window in the front of the chassis.
Cases

Lian Li makes one of the most accessible mini-tower cases we have ever seen, the PC-Q36. Read our review as Chad tells us all about it and what he thinks.
