If you haven’t already heard of the insanely popular NZXT Phantom, then we have to query where you have been for the past year! Just in case you have been away from the computing scene for over a year, we will give you a short breakdown of the success of the legendary NZXT Phantom. Released 12 months ago, the Phantom was one of the first full tower cases to inspire a new design trend. Gone are the days of a full tower case being big, ugly and a cumbersome chunk of metal. The unique design and bold colour scheme were what made the Phantom different from anything we had previously encountered. As we all know though, a striking appearance and aesthetically pleasing design are nothing if the performance isn’t up to scratch. Thankfully, NZXT’s Phantom excelled in terms of expandability, cooling performance, internal clearance, cable management and ease of use. It is available for around £110 and offers almost everything an enthusiast could ask for, so it is no surprise that it has won a plethora of awards and accolades including our own eTeknix gold award.

If you're a computer enthusiast and you've never heard of Lian Li you've probably been living in a cave for the past ten years. Lian Li is widely renowned for its premium aluminium computer cases, the company has build a pretty good name for itself and if you hear someone complaining about Lian Li cases it's usually about their high price. The subject of today's review is the Lian Li Mini Q PC-V354, a compact aluminium case designed for Micro-ATX/Mini-ITX/Mini-DTX motherboards.

Today I will be taking a look at one of the latest budget chassis designs from Aerocool, a brand who might not have the biggest reputation here in the UK but one that we have seen produce some truly impressive products in the past, especially those from the PGS (pro gamer series) range such as theBX500 and the incredible Xpredator which we reviewed last year. Of course the PGS series were focused on high end performance and were nearly twice as expensive as the Strike-X, so it would be unfair to compare them. The Strike-X will set you back around £40 from most major retailers and that puts it right at the heart of the budget market.
The budget market is doing better than ever in terms of choice for the consumer and these days you often have to go out of your way to find a product that is rubbish as many of the top brands in the business offer something impressive for around £30-50, so it will be interesting to see what Aerocool have to offer as we already know they can do high-end chassis very well, but can they make a competitive budget solution?

Our recent review of the Silverstone Sugo SG07 stirred a lot of interest with our readers and I received emails asking if it would be possible to passively cool a high performance processor in this chassis. KitGuru seemingly has a core audience of readers who loathe noise, with a vengeance.
