Wood is much easier to work with than steel. With a few simple tools, you can create a very solid PC case, and if you use high quality wood then it can look very sophisticated when stained. But many people aren’t interested in modding today, and you can buy just about everything pre-modded… with the exception of the wood case.
nMedia has identified this niche and delivered a Home Theater PC made almost entirely out of wood, and has a classic look similar to many “retro” radio or audio consoles you see on QVC. Not only does this case have a classic look, but it is large enough to handle most PC hardware, and has all the connections and ports you need for a good home theater appliance.

To sum up, Lian Li's PC-A04 is a real winner in the mATX world. With the ever growing availability of very competent micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards, the PC-A04 is one of only a handful of cases I'm aware of that can do these high-end boards justice.

Today for review I’ve got a PC case or chassis from NZXT called the Beta Evo. The Evo is the improved or redesigned version of the original Beta case, and it’s improved for the better overall. The Beta case is a budget style case, at least in price, but it’s won many awards and is not what you would expect from such a low priced case, the features and quality is something you’d see a much higher priced chassis. In Win's IronClad chassis has a lot to recommend it. The excellent cooling performance is probably its greatest asset, and the fact that this cooling comes at a relatively low noise penalty is just icing on the cake. A roomy interior that will mount just about any hardware you would want to throw at it is a big plus as well.

The GX700 has more than enough cooling capacity for even a heavily-overclocked six-core processor, and doesn't even create a lot of noise. And unlike other chassis in this segment, it has two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports in the front, and even a fan controller which is even more rare in this class. The chassis comes with three fans, two of which are 140 mm, and that's more than you often get with expensive chassis. The quality of these fans is also better than what you usually get in affordable chassis with lots of fans.
