With new cases continually being released by all of the major manufactures, we are getting more features, better build quality, higher airflow, and better looks while prices decrease. Today we will review Raidmax's newest mid-tower entry, the Viper. It has all of the biggest features to go toe-to-toe with the best cases on the market, but will its features be enough to hold its own against its vast amount of competitors?

Nun, dem kann geholfen werden, denn Lian Li's Tocher Lancool beginnt das neue Jahr gleich mit einem kaum zu übersehenden Farbtupfer: das allseits beliebte K7 Gehäuse in der C-Variante, was in diesem Fall für Champagner steht. It seems to me Antec has been building cases, well, forever now. Being a user of the original 900 was where I got my feet wet with Antec and until I started here, that was all I had to go on. Well, time moves on and cases got released. I have been graced with quite a few unique and stylish designs over the last year or two. Something I grew to love with most, if not all of the samples I have seen, was the way Antec thought out of the box with the Skeleton series and the air flow that seem synonymous with the Antec name.
Once again the designers at Antec have been given the chance to attack the case market with a novel product and that goes by the name of the LanBoy Air. This new case from Antec sticks with a reasonably standard layout but the chassis itself is modular with massive airflow thanks to the majority of the chassis being perforated.
Just in time for Christmas we have a mid-tower for you, this time from Cougar. The MX500 promises to be a case with a gaming centric design and the capability to handle just about any ATX/mATX setup you could want to throw at it with an array of possible drive setups. With the promise or flexibility and expandability the MX500 looks to target gamers and ever since we got our hands on their Vortex PWM fans we knew Cougar was capable of making quality products. Let’s see if they can continue to impress us.

We have reviewed several Antec products recently and one of our favourites was the Dark Fleet DF 85 chassis. A case which seemed to split opinion with our readers, no one argued it had fantastic airflow properties, but many thought it was rather ugly.
