Fractal Design are a Swedish brand who specialise in the engineering and designing of cases. Their concept is “to provide products with an extraordinary design level, without compromising the important factors of quality, functionality and pricing. “. They took the market by the throat back in 2009 when the extremely popular and somewhat revolutionary Define R2 was released and soon became a fan favourite. The Define R2 was very popular due to its ‘no nonsense’ appearance which lacked the ‘bling’ factor that so many people hate. It offered some of the features that we have become accustomed to from the likes of Lian Li and Corsair, but at a significantly lower price. The Define R3 was a worthy successor which added useful features such as more colour choices, better cooling capabilities and improved cable management. The Define R3 however was a somewhat dignified exit, if only temporarily, to the quiet operating cases that the Define series were built to offer.

Today we are going to look at the latest product in the HAF series, the 932 Advanced which is essentially an updated version of the original HAF 932 case that was released back in 2008. There are only a few minor tweaks here and there, though, which bring the old case into the modern era by adding features such as USB3.0 on the front panel.

In our modern world we need lots of electronic devices around us. Be it a notebook, phone tablet, etc., they all need is juice to keep running. Most notebooks have few USB ports to charge your devices at, and what’s better than powering and charging your USB-device at a portable hub, located right at your notebook charger? If this sounds bit weird or vague to you, that’s one more reason to check out this review about the Innergie mCube Slim 95, which should do exactly that: Charge your USB device at a notebook adaptor, whilst having your notebook turned off`- but charging!

Have you ever been annoyed by people who have distorted tastes with regards to desirable versus undesirable noise? When a Ferrari 458 Italia whizzes by you on the highway, the sound of that fire pumping, heart thumping 562hp 4.5L V8 is simply music to your ears. Who cares if it uses a lot of fuel -- this is all about engineering brilliance that takes mechanical and aural perfection to a completely different level of what we call "awesome". On the other hand, when a diesel powered Ram 2500 that makes more noise than speed weaves in and out of traffic like an idiot on a municipal road, sometimes you wonder whether or not there is any hope left in humanity. But while there is a fine line between mechanical brilliance that people want to hear, and disgusting noises only a redneck could love, in the computer world, there are no distinguishable elements between what is desirable and undesirable component noise. Have you heard about anyone describing how amazing their GTX 570 sounds? Unless they are referring to its lack thereof, I haven't; and being a silent computer enthusiast and all, this is where all the points are collected. Here at APH Networks, we have covered all the recent major chassis entries for quiet computing, including the NZXT H2, Cooler Master Silencio 550, and the Fractal Design Define XL. But what is missing on the list is the 'regular' ATX version of the Define XL, and that is the Define R3. So for those who want a case designed for quiet computing, but don't have the space for an eATX case, how well does the Define R3 fit the bill? With one sitting on my desk next to me, let's just say you will not be disappointed.

Okay, I’ll have to admit it. Sentey’s Optimus GS-6000 case is one of the best budget cases out there. First of all, it looks great. The glossy black finish makes it look like a much more expensive case. Yeah, it’s a fingerprint magnet, but that’s the price you pay for such an elegant finish. Combine this with all the other visual elements and you have a very striking package that will garner a lot of envious stares.

The Bitfenix Outlaw is a budget mid-tower case, coming with a unique feature: its motherboard tray is located against the right-side panel of the case, instead of against the left-side panel as it is usually. This way, you have to remove its right-side panel and not its left-side panel in order to open it. Costing only USD 50, let's see if it is a good option for users who are looking for a nice and yet inexpensive case.

Digging into my NZXT file to grab the template I write with for NZXT, I realized it has been almost four months since I wrote anything for NZXT as far as cases go. This might explain the sudden explosion of submission to me for testing as of late. This review will be the first of four coming up from NZXT in the next month or so, as they go live on TweakTown. I figured I would go about this quartet of cases with a diplomatic approach and since all of these new releases are based off of a number system in their names, I figured I would start with the smallest and work my way up the chain. I figure this is not only fair, but will give me a really good opportunity to see what each case has to offer as the series progresses and I assume pricing increases.

Since 2008, NZXT's Tempest line-up has become well-known for offering a good bang for the buck. All of the models released to date have bold designs, but nothing over-the-top. The latest variant, the 410 Elite, focuses on efficient airflow, and includes a front honeycomb design and room for a dual-rad out-of-the-box.
