Some time ago, back when extra hardware wasn't something that was available to me, I had my first go at a Danger Den acrylic chassis build with the Black 21 chassis. If you want to, go ahead and have a look at how limited hardware and installing air cooling into a chassis designed for water can really bring a slick looking chassis down a peg. With that in mind, with this newly developed chassis there will be a full on custom water cooling loop installed into the chassis to showcase it how it deserves to be, and to give the readers more of what is to be expected when reviewing a product that is specifically driven as a chassis to house water cooling out of the gate.

When it comes to manufacturing computer cases, every manufacturer has its strengths. Thermaltake and Cooler Master have been known to produce excellent PC and gaming enthusiast cases that provide superb cooling with great value. SilverStone has been known to produce cases focusing on design inspiration and quality. Lian Li is a manufacturer that designs fully aluminum cases with some of, if not the best, quality for enthusiasts and professional workstations alike. However, what we see all the more common nowadays, is several of these manufacturers have created sub-brands or subsidiaries that focuses on different goals. Thermaltake created the sub-brand Tt eSPORTS that focuses on fully featured and fully equipped gaming gear for eSports use. Cooler Master created CM Storm back in 2009 that zooms in on "arming the gaming revolution" with a futuristic military based thematic approach on chassis and gaming gear. Lastly, Lian Li created the subsidiary LanCool, also back in 2009, aimed at creating aluminum chassis much like their original line-up, but at a more affordable price. Today, we are looking at the LanCool PC-K9 from Lian Li's subsidiary LanCool. The big question for us today is, has Lian Li kept up their build quality aluminum characteristic designs, while keeping it at a more affordable price? Well, you will have read on to find out!

Today Cooler Master are launching their successor to the ever popular Cosmos computer case, an enthusiast favourite now for many years. The Cosmos II is an updated version, brought screaming and kicking into 2012 with a radical new design. The Cosmos II is classed as an ‘Ultra Tower’ measuring a staggering 344 x 704 x 664 mm, able to handle the biggest graphics cards, CPU coolers and watercooling kits. We loved the Cooler Master Storm Trooper case when we reviewed it in November, so we have high hopes that Cooler Master will start 2012 on a very high note.

Cooler Master sent me this case about a week or so ago, and said "keep this a secret until the beginning of January." Well, it has taken every restraint I can muster not to fill the forums of many sites with images of this beast. As you read in the title, Cooler Master has taken yet another crack and making the ultimate chassis to wear the Cosmos moniker. This time, as I see it, Cooler Master went back to step one and did a complete redesign of the original, just that this time it seems there is a no hold barred approach to delivering solutions to all of the past issues, adding a ton of features while re-engineering others, and delivering a new Cosmos that resembles the original, but definitely makes its own statement when in the room.

Cooler Master is known for some edgy cases that hit the sweet spot for gamers looking to have aggressive styling in their rig. The Cosmos S was very popular but it was released back in 2007 which means: Time For an Upgrade. Meet the Cosmos II Ultra Tower. Legit Reviews gets an early sample to inspect to see if it lives up to its predecessors legacy.

Today cases are evolving every day in look, functionality, and practicality. Most cases offer a great solution but obvious flaws in one of these fields. With that we have found the Holy Grail: The Level 10 GT from Thermaltake. We have seen and reviewed the "normal" version of the Level 10 GT but today we have the Snow Edition: A White rendition of the already popular case.
