Not long ago we reviewed the Akasa Omega, a large high performance case designed to appeal mostly to hardware enthusiasts. While the Omega was a very good case, its simplistic appearance wouldn't really attract modders and gamers. Today we will have a look at a case from Akasa designed to appeal exactly to these groups of people, the Infiniti Zor. The Infiniti Zor is designed to be visually appealing but also to offer superior thermal performance for high-end gaming systems. We are going to examine its ergonomics, thermal performance and overall quality in this review.

Today we have something a little special and by that I mean it's literally little and it's special, I am of course talking about one the latest small form factor chassis' from SilverStone, the SUGO SG09. SilverStone have already proven time and time again that they are the masters of compact design. This is something we have seen in previous reviews of the SilverStone range such as the PS07 and the FT03-Mini, both of which were worthy of eTeknix awards for their unique design features, performance and build quality, all of which we hope to see in the SG09.

The Taiwanese Lian Li is well known for their high quality PC and NAS cases, they also have PSU’s and chassis-related accessories. Lian Li sent me the aluminum black PC-Z60 ATX case to review and that’s what we’ll be talking about today.

In the past few years we have seen a vast number of cases being released around the £100 mark from a number of manufacturers like Corsair and Lian Li. We have looked at a number of these cases and have been generally impressed with what they have to offer for the money. At this price point, we would usually expect a plentiful feature set which includes good cable management, a high quality finish, water cooling support and good airflow.

Cooler Master delivered the M-ITX Elite 120 Advanced, "ultra compact"Â, small form factor chassis for us to try out. Let's have a look at what you can stuff inside.

When I first got an opportunity to look at an example of Thermaltake's V9 series, I was less than impressed. This new BlacX entry has some nicely executed features and displays very good cooling numbers. However, the interior design is definitely getting long in the tooth and, frankly wasn't that good to start with. The chassis itself is thin and flimsy, cable management is virtually non-existent and the expansion card tool-free clips are, in word, horrible.

The Silverstone Precision PS07 micro-ATX chassis offers a more traditional layout than the Fortress series, although access to the interior is via the right side of the case, a-la BTX style format. The chassis features dual hidden 120mm silent fan intakes, along with an independent airflow channel for the power supply, all with easily removable filters. With a wide stance to accommodate extra room for cabling, the PS07 maintains a small footprint while allowing use of a full-size power supply and video card, not to mention up to six hard drives. It's available in two color choices, black or white.

Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have a builders ReactorMod build. Here is what he had to say about it: It’s a modded Chieftec BX-03 case. I wanted to make it look like it’s quite old and kinda shabby. I was thinking about this build for quite a long time, so I managed to collect some cool stuff that I’ve found on a nearby scrap yard (e.g. switch or steel sheet that I used to make the radiator cover). I also used some spare parts that I had lying around.
