The external hard drive market has been long established and heavily saturated. Almost 2 years ago, XL-ATX set out to be the defining standard for enthusiast grade motherboards. Some early successes came about since EVGA and Gigabyte released boards using the standard, but it never became mainstream. With that said, today we get to look at another XL-ATX case design for gamers with the Rosewill Thor v2; which is an update to the original Thor that we reviewed back in March 2011.

Mais en ce début d’année, la marque taïwanaise s’est mise à penser aux plus riches des moins riches d’entre nous en proposant une version low-cost (entendez par là moins cher, mais p as forcément au rabais !) de ce boitier hors normes. La version light porte le doux nom de Level 10 GT et reprend un design relativement proche du Level 10, en perdant certaines originalités, mais en gagnant quelques améliorations au passage. Alors ce modèle dans sa version Snow Edition vous laissera-t-il de glace ?
Today we are going to look at the Raidmax Blackstorm Mid-Tower case which is designed to make it as easy as possible for system installation. It has some very interesting features which we haven’t seen before on a mid tower case such as the motherboard tray integrated into a fold-down side panel. For that price you get a sturdy little case with a small side window, tool free drive mounting, removable air intake filters, room for video cards up to 320mm long, room for CPU coolers up to 168mm tall and also room for a 120.2 (240mm) watercooling radiator in the roof. It's easy to build a great computer case if it's going to retail for $250 or more. Actually, I take that back: judging by some of the cases I've seen, maybe it's not that easy! While a high retail price is no guarantee of quality or usability, it's certainly more of a challenge to come out with a really great case at the $100 price level... but that's not going to stop Corsair from trying. Since 2008, NZXT's Tempest line-up has become well-known for offering a good bang for the buck. All of the models released to date have bold designs, but nothing over-the-top. The latest variant, the 410 Elite, focuses on efficient airflow, and includes a front honeycomb design and room for a dual-rad out-of-the-box.
Digging into my NZXT file to grab the template I write with for NZXT, I realized it has been almost four months since I wrote anything for NZXT as far as cases go. This might explain the sudden explosion of submission to me for testing as of late. This review will be the first of four coming up from NZXT in the next month or so, as they go live on TweakTown. I figured I would go about this quartet of cases with a diplomatic approach and since all of these new releases are based off of a number system in their names, I figured I would start with the smallest and work my way up the chain. I figure this is not only fair, but will give me a really good opportunity to see what each case has to offer as the series progresses and I assume pricing increases.
