Icy Dock has delivered many products designed to make the most out of given storage space, and the new Flex-Fit Trio and EZ-Fit Lite do exactly that. Both the Flex-Fit Trio (MB343SP) and EZ-Fit Lite (MB290SP-B) are designed to mount multiple smaller drives in the space of one standard larger drive. In the case of the Flex-Fit Trio, one 3.5” and two 2.5” drives can be mounted into the space of a single 5.25” optical drive. In addition, the Flex-Fit Trio can use the aforementioned 3.5” drive space for internal drives or for 3.5” drives such as floppies or card readers with full access from the front. The EZ-Fit Lite has mounting for two 2.5” drives which can be mounted into a single 3.5” drive bay. In addition, using both together gives you the option of mounting a total of four 2.5” drives into a single 5.25” optical bay.
To sum it up, this is a handy product for both laptop users and enthusiasts who are considering a solid state drive for their main rig. It has a simple design that does exactly what it's supposed to do – provide a safe, secure and cool housing for a 2.5” SATA drive. The $20 price tag won't break the bank either.

Vor kurzer Zeit hat der Hersteller vier neue Gehäuse vorgestellt – darunter auch das Ra 2000, welches wir in unserer heutigen Review vorstellen möchten. Das Ra 2000 kombiniert nach eigenen Angaben raffiniertes Design und hochwertige Verarbeitung mit der sog. Smart Platform. Die Smart Platform steht für geschickte Umsetzung von Temperaturreduzierungen, Lüftersteuerung, Reduzierung der Geräuschentwicklung und einfachem Einbau der Hardware bzw. einfache Wartung selbiger. Für ihr ehrgeiziges Projekt hat sich Ikonik keinen geringeren Namenspatron als den ägyptischen Sonnengott Ra gewählt. Using a moniker like Ikonik on products, the bar is set high in my mind. Icon to me is something that is not only a trendsetter, but one of those things that you can remember back to years later with a smile and say, I remember that, it was the bomb in its day. I haven't had a ton of personal experience yet with Ikonik, but the most memorable up to now was their Ra X10 Liquid Chassis I had the pleasure of looking at and using personally for a couple of months. Not only was the Ra X10 sleek and sexy, built from aluminum and offered software fan control, but of course it was fully water cooled from the factory. While not the best of the best in choosing the components of the loop, I was very satisfied with the results it offered.
