Taking a close look at a globe, where would you end up on the other side of the world if you dug a tunnel straight down into the earth? Well, if you are situated in North America, you would end up pretty close to Australia. If you followed the traditional North American stereotype, you would end up in China; but this is only true if you started out in South America. So if you were to ever think of digging straight through the earth's core from our APH Networks office located in Calgary, ending up in Australia would not be a big surprise. As mentioned in the G.SKILL Sniper F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2 2x4GB reviewed by my colleague Jonathan just recently, everything done in North America is done the right way, whether it be driving on the right side of the road, getting names of our political parties correctly, and the constant of gravity being 9.81 meters per second squared. Why would I be bringing up this topic again? Well, recently, Cooler Master has sent us a very special case for us here at APH Networks to take a closer look at, and it is no other than the Elite 371 with an upside-down logo. Before you frantically scroll down, I must say that in Australia, where everything is done upside-down and backwards, the Elite 371 gives me a slight hunch that it came from Australia indeed. But having reviewed so many products from Cooler Master, we know that their products come from their main office down from the good ol' US of A. So this question now stands: Is Cooler Master trying to fool us with one of their cases from Australia California? Or have they come up with a perfect budget case for their money-wise consumers? NZXT are a fairly new name for us at eTeknix as it's only been recently that we've had the opportunity to look at their products. We started off taking a look at their Avatar S mouse recently which we found to be attractive and feature rich so naturally we're hoping that they have developed their cases in the same manner.
Today we are going to look at the Corsair Obsidian 650D Mid-Tower case which is the smallest model in the Obsidian range. It shares the same styling cues as the larger 700D and 800D cases but comes in at a much more affordable price point. It doesn’t look like Corsair have compromised much on the feature set to achieve this lower price, though, so we are excited to look at the case in more detail.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... the Thermaltake Empire ruled the cooling market. As many of you may know, such a phrase became known throughout the world in May 1977 as the phenomenon Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope hit the theaters. The series -- filled with adventures -- gave an entirely new perspective of the wonders and the infinite possibilities of space. Recently, Thermaltake too has been showing us entirely new possibilities in the PC market. Starting with the magnificent super-gaming tower, the Level 10 in late 2009, and the more down-to-earth Level 10 GT in early 2011, it's no doubt that Thermaltake has no limits to their innovations. Of course, you can very well say that both of these chassis are still too "exclusive" when looking at the average gaming chassis in the market. However, these two PC "phenomenons" aren't the only thing up Thermaltake's sleeve. Enter the Chaser MK-1, the new super gaming chassis from Thermaltake. What is different about this case? Well, for starters, it won't blow a massive hole into your wallet -- and I think that in itself is a huge accomplishment. But will this innovative "Galactic Episoda" survive the deep travels of space in the pursuit of honor and glory? Hmm, maybe I am being a little too melodramatic; nonetheless, it is still a question unanswered, so read on to find out!
Corsair has established itself quite nicely into the market of high end cases with their Obsedian series. Immediately competing with brands, that have been manufacturing cases for ages. Due to the high quality build and included features the price level was pretty elevated. Though Corsair is back with a vengeance. Targeting the sub 100 euro market now with it's latest Carbide series cases. It's main rivals probably will be from Coolermaster with it's legendary CM690 series. Or the newer but also insane popular HAF and Storm cases. Again not an easy task for the Corsair development team to design a case that looks slick, yet build of high quality components and including top notch features. Biggest issue is to keep the price at an affordable level. Time to introduce you to the Carbide 400R.

Letzere waren bisher das Fachgebiet von Scythe. Jetzt wagt sich der Hersteller aber mit dem ersten vollständig eigenen Gehäuse auf den Markt und präsentiert mit dem Ikazuti ein interessantes Gehäuse, das letzten Endes aber noch nicht an die Konkurrenz heranreichen kann.
